Tim Kay Films recently documented a major fundraising event at the historical Temple Emanuel in San Francisco. Festivities included live musical performances and speeches given by prominent figures in the community, such as the president of Temple Emanuel, Steven Dinkelspiel. We wanted to capture the rich history of the venue, where greats such as Warren Hellman (founder of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass) were honored, in every frame and every angle. As with any live event, out biggest challenge is always giving viewers as pure and immersive an experience as possible without compromising the integrity of the event.
