Tim Kay Films recently documented a major fundraising event at the historical Temple Emanuel in San Francisco.  Festivities included live musical performances and speeches given by prominent figures in the community, such as the president of Temple Emanuel, Steven Dinkelspiel.   Watch a highlight from the evening, here Our goal & challenge with this video production was to highlight as much of the beauty of the environment as possible.  We wanted to capture the rich history of the venue, where greats  such as Warren Hellman (founder of Hardly Strictly Bluegrass) were honored, in every frame and every angle. As with any live event, out biggest challenge is always giving viewers as pure and immersive an experience as possible without compromising the integrity of the event.  Live performances are alluring because of the direct connection between the musicians and audience.  We understand that this relationship is fragile and always challenge ourselves to...

Easy Viral Video Tips & Tricks to Help you Create the Best Viral Videos (Vv's)  In this series, we'll break down what makes Vv's work, what is one  and tips on how to get your video up to a massive amount of views. V.V.'s are every marketing/advertiser/bloggers lotto ticket.  In our video production san francisco company, we watch, share and laugh with them as much as everyone else. And why not, they practically cost nothing to make, nothing to host, and can create more exposure then a $1,000,000 marketing campaign. I'll sign up for this any day of the week. But for as simple as a Vv is to make, it is often the most misunderstood type of video made in corporate America today. Trust me when I say it's everyone's favorite buzz word. Having been on location with some of the biggest companies in the US and hearing them explain...

san francisco film commission, Ed Lee mayor
We have some great news regarding our Video Production and Filming Office!    As of January, we are proud to announce that Tim Kay Films has reached an agreement with the San Francisco Film Commission and are now moved into our new offices, surrounded by those in video production, film, non-profit and more! The new office will not only provide office working space for day to day video production requirements, but when larger projects arise, business meetings can now take place in the conference room or the various other 2,000 sq. ft of open space available, all within one area. Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, mere blocks away from Union Square is a perfect place for our video production company. Access to the new location is easily accessible via cars, muni, bike or other public transportation.  We're excited about this next step forward & are honored to have...
